Amman is a PhD student in the Genetics and Genomics program at UCLA. He was born and raised in the Bay Area, originally from a small town called Gilroy. He pursued his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biology at UC San Diego, where his research focused on the role of small molecules on plant root development. After graduating, Amman moved back to the Bay Area and began working at a startup biotech company focusing on generating machine learning models to produce protein therapeutics. 

 Currently, Amman is aiming to optimize high throughput system serology techniques to characterize isotype specific immune responses against antigens of interest. In his free time, Amman enjoys working out, reading, and watching sports.
