Hollie David
Visiting Medical Student
Originally from Blooming Grove, NY, Hollie earned an AS in Child Development from San Diego Community College (2017), a BS in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University (2021), and an MPH from the University of California, San Diego (2023). She is currently a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine candidate at Nova Southeastern University (Class of 2029). Hollie’s research focuses on infectious disease epidemiology, prevention, and immune response, with experience spanning HIV prevention, maternal health during COVID-19, and antimicrobial resistance. At the HALab, she studies vaccine immunology, applying statistical and systems approaches to identify humoral correlates of protection in malaria vaccine trials. Outside of research, she enjoys surfing, golfing, free diving, international travel, and exploring new cuisines.
